I don't believe in big flashy parties - then again, there were seven people in my family so just having a party at home with family became a rather big affair. Plus my sister's and my birthday are only three days apart so it usually became a double birthday party. And then it started being a tradition that we'd go to Palm Springs at that time of year and spend the time with MORE family...
